Nashville Spinsters at The Big Stitch

Wanna spin? Wanna see some in action?
Come to The Big Stitch at FiftyForward Knowles on Oct 16
and see them in action!
Knowles is located at 174 Rains Ave
near the entrance to the State Fairgrounds.

Sorting Day

Thanks goes out to Lila Griffin, Tina and James Waller, Reyna Lorele, Kay York, Erin McKee and Deb Locke who spent several hours sorting hat, scarf, afghans for the military and baby blanket donations. The military donations have been delivered and most of the baby items have been donated. The hats and scarves will start going out in early October. Needs will be particularly high this winter as more and more families are dealing with homelessness, the flood and an uncertain economy.
Time to get our needles going!

Recent Thank You letters

The Veterans Administration letters were received due to the two donations that we made: 40 blankets and 18 helmet liners in July and 69 blankets in August. Vanderbilt Childrens' Hospital thanked us for baby hats and chemo hats. In addition to these donations, we recently gave 45 baby blankets and hats to United Neighborhood Health Services.
